Childhood and education

Nick was raised alongside his brother Nelson and sister Saskia in Philadelphia, by their father who was a lawyer, and their mother who was a theatre actress.

Nick grew up being interested in acting, learning various accents and dialects, but was urged by his parents to focus on his education first, and then do whatever he wanted. Nick was amongst the best students in his high school, and was also physically active as he played various sports such as soccer, football and baseball – he also practiced his acting skills in the school’s drama club.

Upon matriculation in 2011, he enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2015, and then decided to focus on acting; he took a road trip to Los Angeles, California after deciding to move there for good.
