Pierce Brosnan was born on 16 May 1953, in Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, Country Louth, Ireland. His father, Thomas abandoned his family when he was only 4 years old and grew up with his grandparents, and his mother, May moved to London to work as a Nurse. He holds an Irish nationality.
