Early life and education
Soe was raised in Yangon by her father who is a veterinarian, and her mother who is working as a teacher at a local high school. Soe’s cousin Soe Myat Thuzar is an actress very famous in Myanmar, while her other cousin Soe Myat Nandar is also a famous actress who won a Myanmar Academy Award for Best Supporting actress in 2001. Our Soe is very close to her relative Sandi Myint Lwin who is a famous hip hop artist and she has helped Soe with her singing career. The whole family is very popular in Myanmar.
Soe’s family moved to Taungoo, Myanmar when she was seven years old, and when she was attending third grade she started singing, and by the time she reached high school she was already an avid singer who won several school contests. Upon matriculation, Soe moved back to Yangon to pursue her career as a singer, and didn’t enroll at a college.
