Early Life and Bio

David was born under the zodiac sign of Virgo on the 5th September 1952, in Los Angeles, California USA, of American nationality and white ethnicity, the older son of Judith Tubbs Eisley and Anthony Eisley, who was also an actor, widely recognized for starring in the 1960s ABC television detective series “Hawaiian Eye”. He has a younger brother, Jonathan Erickson Eisley, who primarily works as a stunt artist. David dived into the world of music while still being a high school student, when he joined the Iron Butterfly’s tribute band called Mammoth.

Additionally, he was a promising baseball player, and a member of the San Francisco Giants’ Double-A tier.

Music Career

Eisley’s music career began in 1980, when he joined the rock band Sorcery. Soon they signed a record deal with Starwood Productions, and performed a Halloween Concert at the Las Vegas’ Aladdin Theater for the Performing Arts, which was completely sold out within the first several hours. In 1982 the band released their studio album entitled “Sorcery2”.

In 1983 David joined Gregg Giuffria, Craig Goldy and Alan Krigger and became the lead vocalist as well as the keyboardist and accordion player of Washington D.C.-based rock band Giuffria.

In the following year, they signed a record deal with the MCA Records, after which Giuffria released its eponymous debut studio album, which peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and produced hit singles such as “Lonely In Love” as well as their most famous song – “Call to the Heart” – which peaked at No. 15 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Subsequently, they performed as the opening act on Deep Purple’s 1984 Perfect Strangers World Tour (often referred to as the Reunion Tour). In 1985 they were opening act for Foreigner on its Agent Provocateur Tour, while in 1986 they released a studio album entitled “Silk and Steel”, which reached No. 60 of the US Billboard 200 albums chart.

In 1987 the band recorded nine demos as a premise for its third studio album, which was never released, but ended-up on David’s 2001 release entitled “The Lost Tapes”. Alongside Earl Slick, Pete Comita, F. Kirk Alley and Keni Richards, in 1988 David founded the glam metal band Dirty White Boy. Their only album entitled “Bad Reputation” was released in 1990, and was followed by a tour through the US and Europe before the group disbanded.

After a five-year-long hiatus from music, David teamed up with Bob Kulick, Chuck Wright, Jimmy Waldo and Jay Schellen, and formed the hard rock music group Murderer’s Row, which released their eponymous album in 1996.

In 1998, as the vocalist of the heavy metal band Stream, David featured on its studio album “Nothing Is Sacred“, while in 1999 he released his debut solo studio album entitled “War Dogs”, followed by his second album named “Stranger From the Past” in 2000. The real breakthrough in David Glen Eisley‘s music career occurred in 1997, when alongside Bob Kulick he co-created “Sweet Victory“, which was included in the Bruton Music Library’s 1998 release named “American Games”, produced by APM Music.

However, the song’s popularity hugely increased in 2001, when it was featured in an episode of the Nickelodeon TV animated comedy series “SpongeBob SquarePants” entitled “Band Geeks”. India Joy Eisley was born on the 29th October 1993 in Los Angeles, California. She dived into the world of acting at the age of 12 when, alongside her parents, she appeared in the 2005 Sci-Fi horror movie “Headspace”.
