Childhood and education
Kevin was raised alongside his sister in Ireland, and has commented that the two looked way too similar during their early life – he hasn’t shared any details concerning his parents with his fans.
He started having problems while attending elementary school, as he vomited blood and then began feeling pain in his ear canal. He skipped around a year of school, but after enrolling at a high school Kevin’s condition worsened, and he spent more time away from school, during which time he played Xbox a lot. He started making videos on YouTube, but after finally returning to school, he had to return home the same day because of stomach pains, and doctors then found out that Kevin had ulcers in his stomach, and this led him to quit school while attending the 10th grade.
Kevin started uploading videos onto his first YouTube channel “zXNoRegretzzXz” in 2009, later renamed to “The Old CallMeKevin Channel”, before all its content was deleted from YouTube. After he gained Machinima’s attention, they invited him to make videos for them in return for money – Kevin’s parents didn’t believe he was going to get any money, but after a bit of persuading, Kevin started working with Machinima. He came up with an idea for a series of videos called “How to Annoy”, which became very successful, and got Kevin a lot of money.
At the age of 18 he moved to Scotland, but during the one year he spent there, he was alone most of the time and only focused on his YouTube channel. He returned to Ireland and decided to take some away from YouTube while he made money from the retail store CeX, which he purchased for an unknown amount of money. In 2016, he was hit by a car less than an hour after watching the movie “Batman vs Superman” at a cinema, and because of multiple injuries was unable to work at his store which led him to sell it – he was advised to undergo shoulder surgery, but after learning about how bad it could go, Kevin decided against it.
He chose to once again focus on YouTube, and launched his new channel on 18 October 2016. It almost instantly attracted 8,000 followers, transiting from his old channel – Kevin’s channel is today subscribed to by more than 2.6 million people, and counts over 1.1 billion views of all his videos combined. His two most popular videos are “Until Dawn but I pick every bad option”, watched close to seven million times since 19 July 2018, and “Skyrim but it’s destroyed by mods”, viewed over 5.7 million times since 14 July 2018.
Kevin is also very active on Twitch, and usually livestreams while playing video games such as “Among Us”, while he occasionally livestreams while only talking to his fans – this channel numbers more than 320,000 followers. He is active on Instagram too, with more than 175,000 fans, while he’s uploaded around 70 pictures, most of which have been taken during his everyday life. Kevin created his Twitter account in November 2010, and it’s attracted over 220,000 fans, while Kevin tends to tweet at least once a day. He is also active on Facebook, although his page counts just 300 followers.
He also has a Patreon account, and it currently counts 1,810 patrons resulting in $8,655 to Kevin every month.

Kevin occasionally uses two characters in his videos: Jim Pickens who might also be known as Jim Reaper and the Dear Leader, Our Lord, and Saviour, and his second character Grognak The Destroyer, Attorney at Law, Esquire, M.D.
Jim Pickens is a serial killer who would do whatever it takes to kill people, even if it involves buying a restaurant and poisoning them with pufferfish – one time, Jim held several people captive in his basement, and was once also a vampire.
Grognak The Destroyer is a person/monster suffering from a condition called Amnosia (same as Amnesia but not diagnosed) and it can be helped by any drug. He is a communist as he often listens to USSR National Anthem, and resembles the Russian President Vladimir Putin. Grognak The Destroyer works as a lawyer, often for both sides. Most people believe him to be Chinese and he is genderless.
Love life and relationships
Kevin was once quite open about his love life and often featured his girlfriend in his videos, while he also talked about how the two went on vacations together, and how he met her family – most of these videos have been removed, so not a lot is known about this past relationship of Kevin’s.
Today, he is romantically linked to Anna Rudolf (or Anna Chess) who is a Twitch star and a Hungarian Chess Grandmaster – Anna is followed by around 70,000 people, and only livestreams while playing chess.
The two have been together for several months now, and it is believed that they met on the internet and are also ‘dating’ on the internet, as the two live in different countries. As of November 2020, Kevin is dating Anna Rudolf, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests

He works out at a local gym several times a week to stay in shape – he decided to start exercising in early 2017, several months after he was hit by a car, but even today has to be careful with his shoulder.
Kevin plays the ukulele, and once sang Johnny Cash’s song “Ring of Fire” for his fans in the video game “Sea of Thieves”.
He is keen on tasting various cuisines, and can eat nearly anything, but dislikes soup.
Kevin doesn’t like to watch movies, and one film franchise that he definitely doesn’t like is “Star Wars”.
