Katherine Beth Nolan is an American sports television host and podcast host who is professionally known as Katie Nolan. She is well recognized for hosting a weekly ESPN podcast called “Sports? With Katie Nolan”. She also formerly hosted “Always Late with Katie Nolan” on ESPN2 as well as “Garbage Time with Katie Nolan” on Fox Sports. She started a blog called “Bitches Can’t Hang”, which focused on pop culture and news. In 1997, at age 10, Nolan won the gold medal in rhythmic gymnastics at the Junior Olympics. She made her first foray into hosting on the Yardbarker network hosting the series “Guyism Speed Round”. As well, she has appeared in three episodes of the Comedy Central program “Drunk History”.

ESPN’s Katie Nolan is leaving a network
Katie Nolan’s time at ESPN is done as the host and personality announced her exit from the network on Wednesday, noting that she’s “thought about sending this tweet for weeks.” ESPN did not immediately comment on Nolan’s departure. “I’ve thought about sending this tweet for weeks and I still have no clue how to make it not make you all roll your eyes,” Nolan wrote on Twitter. “Alas: the obvious thing has happened. I no longer work at ESPN. I’m really grateful for my time here. I made incredible friendships and valuable mistakes.”
“We thank Katie for her contributions to ESPN and wish her luck in the future,” ESPN said in a statement. “This year of slowing down has affected me on a cellular level,” Nolan wrote. “If you listen to the podcast this isn’t news to you. What’s next for me is to figure out how/where/when this new me can use the skills the old me acquired to make the stuff I think needs making. And maybe a vacation?”
