William Alain Andre Gabriel Saliba professionally known as William Saliba is a French professional football player who plays for Ligue 1 club Nice, on loan from Premier League club Arsenal as a defender. At the age of six, he began playing football, coached by the father of Kylian Mbappe. In 2016, he moved to the youth team of Saint-Etienne. At the age of 17, on 30 May 2018, he signed his first contract. On 25 September 2018, he made his professional debut with Saint-Etienne. After a year, on 25 July 2019, Arsenal signed him in a long-term contract with the club.
