Early life and education

Brendan spent a part of his early life in Ottawa where he was raised an only child by his father who was a truck driver and his mother who was a nurse. He attended a local high school in Ottawa, where he was a member of the school’s drama club, and appeared in most of the plays there.

After matriculation and with the encouragement of his parents and teachers, he moved to London in Ontario where he enrolled at Fanshawe College obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in accounting. He then move to Vancouver in British Columbia, where he studied acting at the Lyric School of Acting graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre in 2004.

Brendan made his debut film appearance in the short drama “When Jesse Was Born” in 2005, which starred Ryan Robbins and Calum Worthy, and which follows a blue collar family facing troubles after they welcome their third child into the family.

He went on to portray the lead character Pete in the drama film “LTD”, which starred Ryan Arnold and Gina Holden and which follows a lonely man who starts dating the girl on whom he had a crush for years.
