Chad Ochocinco Biography
Chad Javon Johnson was born on Jan 9, 1978. He is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Santa Monica College and Oregon State University and played eleven seasons in the National Football League for the Bengals, New En gland Patriots, and the Miami Dolphins. Chad Ochocinco drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League in the 2nd round of the 2001 NFL Draft and played for the Bengals for ten seasons.
Chad Ochocinco Early life
Ochocinco was born in Florida. After doing graduation from Miami Beach Senior High School in 1997, he attended Langston University but did not give time to football. In 197, he transferred to Santa Monica College, a community college in Santa Monica, California. At this college, he played with future NFL wide receiver Steve Smith. In 2000, he sent to Oregon State University, after being aggressively recruited by coach Dennis to play for the Oregon State Beavers football team.
Chad also broke a school record for the longest touchdown reception with a 97-yard reception in a game against Stanford University.
Chad Ochocinco Professional career
In 2003, he set a Bengals franchise record by recording 1355 receiving yards. In the following year, he caught 95 passes for nine touchdowns and 1274 yards, including 117 receiving yards in a 58-48 win against the Cleveland Browns.
Later Chad surpassed his franchise record in 2005, recording 1432 yards. He led the AFC in receiving yards for four consecutive seasons, and he made the Pro Bowl five straight times from 2003 to 2007.
During the 2005 NFL season, Chad made an announcement that he would keep a checklist, titled who Covered 85 in 05, that would evaluate the defensive backs that successfully managed to cover him.

2006-2008

After being bogged down by an injury, his performance endured a sharp decline. During the first eight weeks of the 2006 season, he only caught two touchdown passes, while only amassing 483 yards. However, after shaving his Mohawk and changing his plan, he got a breakout game in a losing effort against the San Diego Chargers. He accumulated 260 receiving yards and scored two touchdowns, which broke the previous Bengals record for the most receiving yards in a game.
In addition to being one of the most productive receivers in NFL, Chad was also one of the most popular ones. In the fan voting for the 2006 Pro Bowl, he finished first in votes for wide receivers and 4th overall with 987,650 total votes.
Against the Seattle Seahawks, he totaled nine receptions for 138 yards as the Bengals lost again. Again the New York Jets, in which the Bengals won, he had three receptions for 102 yards.

In Nov 2010, he proposed to Basketball Wives Star Evelyn Lozada. Whom he had been in a close relationship since 2009. The pair married in July 2012.
In August 2012, Chad arrested on a charge of a domestic battery according to the Florida police. The couple filed for divorce in the same year.
In June 2013, Chad sentenced to 30 days in jail for violating his probation.
