Chad Ochocinco Biography

Chad Javon Johnson was born on Jan 9, 1978. He is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Santa Monica College and Oregon State University and played eleven seasons in the National Football League for the Bengals, New En gland Patriots, and the Miami Dolphins. Chad Ochocinco drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League in the 2nd round of the 2001 NFL Draft and played for the Bengals for ten seasons.

Ochocinco was born in Florida. After doing graduation from Miami Beach Senior High School in 1997, he attended Langston University but did not give time to football. In 197, he transferred to Santa Monica College, a community college in Santa Monica, California. At this college, he played with future NFL wide receiver Steve Smith. In 2000, he sent to Oregon State University, after being aggressively recruited by coach Dennis to play for the Oregon State Beavers football team.

Chad also broke a school record for the longest touchdown reception with a 97-yard reception in a game against Stanford University.

In 2003, he set a Bengals franchise record by recording 1355 receiving yards. In the following year, he caught 95 passes for nine touchdowns and 1274 yards, including 117 receiving yards in a 58-48 win against the Cleveland Browns.

Later Chad surpassed his franchise record in 2005, recording 1432 yards. He led the AFC in receiving yards for four consecutive seasons, and he made the Pro Bowl five straight times from 2003 to 2007.

In June 2013, Chad sentenced to 30 days in jail for violating his probation.
