Early life and education

Ojani was raised a single child in Cuba by his father, who was a factory worker, and his mother who was a tailor. He attended an elementary school, where he played soccer and ran track, but upon finishing eighth grade, his family decided to move to the USA. He began attending a public high school there, continuing to play soccer as well as starting to play football, and his parents found new jobs while his mother also began attending college.
