Early life and education
Erin spent the first four years in Philadelphia before her family moved to Wellington in Florida. She became interested in acting while attending elementary school, where she was a member of the drama club, appearing in many plays before finishing school and enrolling at Alexander W. Dreyfoos Jr. School of the Arts.
After her teachers praised her for her performances, she moved to New York City and started attending Juilliard School, winning her first theatre roles in plays such as “Steel Magnolias” and “The Importance of Being Earnest” – she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2006.
Erin was also playing multiple sports so she could stay fit for her roles, and was mostly focused on tennis and volleyball.
Career as an actress
Erin’s debut TV series appearance was also the most important role in her career, when she portrayed Specialist Tanya Gabriel in the romantic war TV series “Army Wives” from 2010 to 2012.
The show stars Brian McNamara, Wendy Davis, and Catherine Bell, and is the story of four girls and a man who are all in love with somebody serving in the US Army. In 2013, she appeared in the episode “Recoil” of the TV series “Castle”, and made her debut film appearance in 2014 in “Chance at Romance”, portraying Samantha Hart.
