Austin Noah Abrams is a native of Pennsylvania, who was born under the Virgo zodiac sign on 2 September 1996, which makes him 27 years old as of 2023; he’s the son of the medical practitioners, Lori Abrams and Bradley Abrams of Russian Jewish ancestry. He spent his childhood in Sarasota, Florida, and has a younger sister named Ashley Abrams, who is also an actor best known for appearing in the 2016 short movie “Silent Kill.” He began showing interest in acting when he was a child, and his parents took him to acting school shortly after he turned five. Abrams was 15 years old when he was cast as James in the Cuba Gooding Jr.-starring action thriller “Ticking Clock” in 2011. In the year that followed, he was cast alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt and Irvan Sergei in the comedy “Jewtopia”, and Abrams’ next major role was in the 2015 romantic comedy-drama “Paper Town,” which was directed by Jake Schreier. The film was a commercial success, and had a box office collection of $85 million against a budget of $12 million.

In 2017, Abrams appeared in four films including the Ben Stiller-starring comedy-drama, “Brad’s Status” and his next notable appearance was in the 2020 romantic drama “Chemical Hearts.” Most recently, in 2023 he played Ben Taylor in the drama “The Starling Girl.” Austin will appear in the films “The Line” and “Wolves” set for release in 2024.

TV Appearances

Austin made his TV debut with the recurring role of Todd Cooper in the MTV sitcom “The Inbetweeners” in 2012 – the show stars Bubba Lewis, Joey Pollari and Zach Pearlman. He then made single-episode appearances in the comedy-drama “Shameless” and the comedy “Silicon Valley” before he landed the role of Ron Anderson in the fifth and sixth seasons of the acclaimed AMC post-apocalyptic horror drama “The Walking Dead” in 2015 and 2016. In 2019, Austin was cast as Ethan in the HBO teen drama “Euphoria” – his performance in the second season of the show was described as ‘iconic.’ He executed his role perfectly in Lexi’s (played by Maude Apatow) play “Our Life” in season two, episode seven of the drama. Abrams leads a very private life, and unlike most rising stars, he’s inactive on all social media platforms. In an interview with Coup De Main Magazine, he described social media, especially Instagram, as a ‘mental trap’ and made it clear that he wasn’t interested in showing people his personal life. He also revealed that he opened a Facebook account after he turned 13, but had no idea what to post on it.

Austin was rumored to be in a romantic relationship with his “Chemical Hearts” co-star, Lili Reinhart, who was also born under the Virgo zodiac sign in 1996 (27 years old) and is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She is famously known for her appearances in the teen drama TV series “Riverdale” and the crime drama movie “Hustlers” – the duo shares a strong on-screen chemistry in the film. However, they haven’t addressed their dating allegations.

In an interview with Teen Vogue, Austin gave helpful relationship advice – ‘Work on yourself as a person. If you love yourself, have yourself a little bit figured out before you get into a relationship so that you can then love another person.’
