When Daniela and Paul started dating, he wasn’t actually a single man, as he was seeing Callie Rivers, the daughter of the head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team, Doc Rivers.
Callie and Paul went their separate ways when it came to light that he was involved with Daniela, and they carried on their relationship, and appear to have found happiness with each other.
Not long after, Daniela was expecting her first baby – according to rumours, Paul asked her to have an abortion, and offered to pay Daniela $1 million in compensation for the abortion. She refused this offer, and their daughter, Olivia, was born on 1 May 2014.
On the 28 May, Daniela approached the Manhattan Family Court to file a lawsuit against Paul, presumably for child support. The sports star said that if it could be proven the child is his, he would do the right thing and be a father for her.
A paternity test proved that Olivia is indeed Paul’s. He hit back at the whole affair by suing for full custody, citing Daniela’s unemployment as bad for the child. Fortunately, the two were able to reach a settlement for child support and co-parenting.
Although Daniela and Paul went through a dramatic time with the child custody case, they seemed to still feel attracted to each other, as in 2017 she gave birth to their second child – also a girl – named Natasha.
