Childhood and education
Victoria was raised in Riverdale, but otherwise hasn’t shared much about her siblings or her parents – she is believed to be an only child, while her parents are said to have worked in the field of education.
While most her peers dreamed about becoming models and actresses, Victoria looked up to her teachers and thought about becoming a teacher.
She was interested in various things including painting and dancing, and also played both soccer and badminton – she matriculated in 1992, and then enrolled at the University of Chicago from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1996. Victoria continued working on her education, and in 1998 obtained her Master of Science degree in anthropology – she was later awarded her PhD from the University of Southern California.
Career as a writer
Victoria hasn’t shared much about the first couple of years of her career, but it’s known that her first book came out in 2007 entitled “The Threesome Handbook: A Practical Guide to Sleeping with Three” – it made Victoria somewhat famous in the US as no such book previously existed.
The following six years of her career remain unknown until her second book – “Jet Sex: Airline Stewardesses and the Making of an American Icon” – was released in 2013 – it won Victoria several awards and accolades, such as a NASA Aerospace History Fellowship, an American Space Agency Grant, and a Smithsonian Institution Guggenheim Fellowship.
Victoria is also a history teacher, who has taught at various colleges around the US, while she has also lectured at other places and events such as the National Air and Space Museum and the Library of Congress.
Career as a film writer and producer
Victoria has scripted three short movies and produced four. She wrote and produced the short comedy “TSA America: Just Relax” in 2013, and the following year saw her both write and produce two short films “TSA America: Suspicious Bulges” and “Yeah, But Is It Ticking?”
She also served as the associate producer for the 2010 short horror comedy movie “Stranger Danger”, which starred Chelsey Valentine, Chris McNickle and Jerry Straley, and is about a pedophile who has chosen the wrong kid to stalk.
Love life and marriage with Misha Collins
Victoria hasn’t shared much about how and where she met Misha, but it’s widely believed that they met while attending the same high school. After around 10 years of being together, the two married in a private ceremony attended by their closest friends and family on 6 October 2001, in Maine USA. On 23 September 2010, they welcomed their son they named West Anaximander, while their daughter Maison Marie followed on 25 September 2012.

She is keen on watching movies late at night, and her favorite actors and actresses are Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson, while her favorite movies include “Inception”, “Shutter Island” and “V for Vendetta”.

He might be known best for his portrayal of Angel Castiel in the fantasy horror series “Supernatural”, created by Eric Kripke in 2005 and which aired until 2020 – Misha joined the cast in 2008.
